OK, if you live in NYC, you know about BaoHaus or at least, have heard of it. Owned by Asian Gangsta Chef Eddie Huang, BaoHaus specializes in Pork Bun. And it’s not any regular pork bun, it’s the delicious Taiwanese type ‘Gua Bao’.
Last week, I stumbled upon this clip from Vice featuring Eddie running around town for some awesome Chinese foods. Man did they eat some mouth watering, tongue drooling, earth shattering dishes. Mofo!
Anyway, if you haven’t tried out the BaoHaus Pork Bun yet, run out and grab one. The restaurant has just relocated by 14th and Second ave. My fav bun is the traditional ‘Chairman Bao’ with a chunk of pork belly.
My arteries are getting clogged up.. but I don’t care!! HA!
